Wouldn’t some good music cheer you up right now? Not everyone has Aisling around them playing the ukulele, so we thought we’d share our newest playlist to brighten up you day. So, without further ado, here is the Good Vibes 4.0 playlist.
Now that you have some good music on, your day should instantly feel brighter. At least we love good music around here and thought you might appreciate it too. It’s a playlist we’ve been collecting songs for since our last playlist and it mostly has an indie vibe. Every year we make one or two playlists with the songs we are really enjoying at the time.
Other playlists
Since it’s the Good Vibes “4.0” you may have guessed that there are other playlists in this series… with some Sherlock Holmes-level sleuthing you may have even managed to deduct that there are in fact 3 more of these. Since you are so good at detective games, you deserve to be able to listen to these playlists as well, so here are the Good Vibes 3.0, 2.0 and the original playlists. Do you feel like listening to something a bit more pop music-like? Well, we did an awesome and slightly eclectic playlist for the 2018 Munapest Conference which is still a road trip favorite, not just for us, but for some friends too.
Do you feel a little sleepy or lack energy? Well, I have a playlist for that too, creatively called Wake Up! with a good mix of rock and other energetic music. Now if you have to focus, I love listening to Hans Zimmer (the original Kung Fu Panda soundtrack is the best) and Spotify’s Productive Morning playlist is great too.
Day 13
Well, turns out it is going to be cold for a while longer and it is hard to keep that stove running, so I found a few more fallen trees behind the house to chop up and use. I spent the whole morning running around with a chainsaw, cutting the wood into about 1.5 m logs and then the hard part started: carrying them down to the house. The whole property is on a slope, so running up and down carrying a couple hundred kilos of woods becomes quite the workout. According to my watch I climbed the equivalent of 80 floors carrying logs.
Now it would be very unlike us to rest in the afternoon, but my arms were a little tired, so I went with one of my favorite activities here in the Balaton. Riding the little lawnmower-tractor is just awesome. It may be on the verge of disintegrating, but it is like a slow little gokart, yet I’m doing something useful. Aisling took the less fun job and used the little lawnmower around the garden near the house. This place will be in tip-top shape by the time we leave!
