I’m not the type of person to make New Year’s resolutions. I have no illusions about getting a six-pack by the summer or learning a new language – that’s just not going to happen. But I have finished 2016 in the most fun way possible: travelling, seeing old friends and meeting new ones. However cheesy it sounds, it was also a great time to think about the year ahead.
New Year’s is a special time for me. It’s the time when I usually meet two of my best friends, Vid and Danilo who I usually see only once or twice a year. It has become a tradition that we meet for New Year’s and celebrate together. Danilo moved to Bologna recently, so this year we decided to go there. I had originally planned to go by bus, but WizzAir turned out to be significantly cheaper (I know, crazy!), so I got to travel in comfort. We spent 4 days partying, sightseeing and we spontaneously decided to hop on a train and go to the seaside for a few hours, so we’ve been to Rimini as well. Just look at the pics, they will tell the story much better than I could ever explain!
2016 was an interesting year for me, with tons of ups and downs, but all in all it had been pretty darn fun and it ended in the best way possible. And 2017? I’m not making any resolutions, but I have some pretty cool plans. I will be doing much more photography and I have some unusual travels in the making. You are also reading my first blogpost, so there is something new for the New Year! Plus, I bought a GoPro camera... Vlogs maybe, or just some travel videos? You’ll just have to wait and see!
Happy New Year!
